Yes. Each Ohio county Auditor keeps the owner's name and the address the tax bill goes to, and Ohio's public records law (Ohio Revised Code 149.43) opens those records to anyone. These lists come from the Lorain County Auditor's records.
How do I find absentee property owners?
Look for homes whose tax bill goes to a different address than the home. There are 10,877 of them in Lorain County today. The Absentee owners list has every one, with the address where the owner gets mail.
How current is the data?
The Lorain County Auditor's records as of October 22, 2026. The county posts new files every day; we check for a new one every Sunday night. Every file shows its date.
